JV

The Junior Varsity will have a new and fresh look with
many first year players.

Sprinkle in four players who saw considerable JV action
last year and the season looks to be very successful.
During the past seven seasons the Monarch junior varsity
has compiled an outstanding 116-24 record, placing top in
the league standings for 6 of those seasons. This
incoming sophomore class has a hunger and hard nosed
approach when competing. As a team the junior varsity will
look to display their patented aggressive defensive
pressure and up tempo offense.

Under the tutelage of Coach McCallum, the junior varsity
will emphasize fundamental play and developing individual
skills. Each day the younger players will meet the rigorous
practice schedule and be held accountable at a high level.
As the confidence of each player grows and they
understand the Monarch system better, some of these
players will push the older players for playing time on the
varsity level.
